Probably Pearl Arant is one of the few people in town I know who might be able to give this a date range. I vaguely remember this restaurant being open in the forties, but it seems that it closed in the fifties. That would put the postcard forties or earlier. It reopened as the Memories Cafe (I believe that was the name mother told me) in the eighties, but I think it closed, too.
